Launching and Using Your App

By this point you’ve probably gone through a couple of steps already to prepare your Enjion workflow app for use:

– If you have other team members you want to share your app with then you will want to manage them as either individual team members or assign them Roles (for more information on this check out the article Managing Team Members & Roles)

– You will need to have created a new app, named it and designed its interface in the Design view (for more information on this check out the article Design View). While selecting your components you may want to check out who from your team has access and visibility to each component (for more information on this check out the article Component Descriptions)

– Once the interface is created you may want to add automation rules to automate communication and actions in other integrated apps (for more information on this check out the article Automate View)

– Finally, if you want other team members involved with your workflow you’ll want to select the right option to share your app (for more information on this check out the article Share View)

Now all that’s left is to launch and use your app. When you first open your app from the app dashboard you are, by default brought to the Explore view (for more information on this check out the article Explore View) which will be pretty empty because no one has entered any data yet into your app.

In order to launch your app click on the App menu on the upper left just under the slide out:

Launch&Use001

Then in the dropdown click “New [Your app name]”

Launch&Use002

This will open your app and allow you or anyone you gave access to the ability to enter data (Note: your app will probably look very different from the one in this example depending on which components you chose)

Launch&Use003

In order to close your app click on the blue “X” on the upper right corner

Launch&Use004

Now the information you entered into your app will be reflected in the Explore view
